GUESS WHAT!
I entered a writing contest! Crazy stuff....
I just submitted 6 of my poems.
ALSO, I started a counter thing like a month ago and it's already past 300.
That's makes me so happy.
It'd make me SUPER HAPPY, if people would comment or tell me any critiques ;)
But yeah, thanks guys.
You all are amazing. :)
And wish me luck!

"Queen on colour", starts the war,
and bedlam soon breaks loose.
Noble steads Leap too far
and Bishops slyly slide
Castles control their counter parts
and you devise demise
The pawns soon parish, sacrificed;
The martyrs of the team.
However soon it's down to just a pawn,
and then two kings.
Royalty useless, status gone.
Hope the pawn is up for fate,
for they deserve the true
Check Mate.

The End

And here I lie in seas of red,
with fading hope for me.
Defeat has come, my final bed.
I hope the pain will leave quickly.

They lied when telling of this fate,
They, with dreams both dark and small.
They said my heart would fill with hate.
Alas, they all were wrong.

My eyes, like shutters, concentrate
not on the past charades.
I see the grey skies ready now
To take me to my place.

Beneath the bedlam mountains lie,
basked in warming sun.
I see them and collapse in time.
Now out I go, and here I come.

Outdoor Ed Inspired

I see an ocean no longer blue,
the skies all turned to grey.
All the ants with none to do,
except to shudder, eat, and pray.
The heat is dimmed: the light's turned off.
I see no falling snow.
The butterfly now twin to moth,
extinct has gone the hope.

wrote this and the "The End" on my solo on outdoor ed haha fun times

Happy Halloween!!
OK so I know have posted a lot of poetry...and yeah! It's fun to write and I would love feedback.
UPDATES:
Vocal Rush: way too lush. I love my Vocal Rush family so much!! Basically, I'm in the show rising stars right now which is using a show about like Glee Clubs to raise money for foster care and scholarships. My Glee Club is called Vocal Rush and it is SOO much fun. Everyone is ridiculously talented and it is completely drama free. We're doing the songs Telephone, Anyway You Want it, Me Against the Music, Here's Where I Stand, 13, Lean on Me, Timewarp, and Keep Holding On. toooo goos. (AL) Besides, Dream Jons are obviously Next Stop Broadway. ;)

School: I'm a freshie. It's fun stuff. Love me some Chadwick; it's all awesome. The teachers are amazing and funny and cool and I look forward to class almost everyday in most subjects. Dr. B KILLS ME everyday. That class makes me actually enjoy science, which is rare considering I'm more of a humanities person. Cheer is fun. Peppy, and fun. We were undefeated until this Saturday :( T'was a sad day, but we had an overall great season and I have an inkling we'll move onto post season, which means Ness and I might get to miss outdoor ed...haha. Sorry dalong!

Halloween: Today's Halloween! I just got home (lies. I got home like an hour ago. I've just been chilling) and I felt like updating you on my Halloween festivities. Basically, we went to Ness's and got ready. I obtained an unexpected surplus of pants at the point of the day. True Life. After we got ready, we had an epic photo shoot. I really want to get them all uploaded because they are AMAZING. so bomb. Thenn we went trick or treating in Gillian and Vanessa's area. Me, Amanda, Gillian, Vanessa, and Christopher were dressed up like social networking sites (thanks for the idea sterls....we were really sad you couldn't come! :( :( ) and we got some praise haha. Best Quotes from the People Who Gave Us Candy:
"I bet you're all the cheerleaders, huh?"
"Look at all you girls! Beautiful!" -cue Christopher's awkward glance-
"Hahah love the costumes. I have an account on all of your sites...oh except tokbox. What's that?"
"I use all those sites. Except Youtube."
Passing Person: "BOO!" Us: "AHHHHIAURHEGJNKAHIEGRJN"
Mama Lucas drove us to another street that was really good too. Lotsa candy and smiles. Only bummer was that the two usual epic haunted houses decided not to make them this year. :( Still fun though. After we sketch waited for Mama Lucas to drive us home again, we went back to Ness's. Chilled and candy sorted, then ate dinner, then watched Chryssie on the Mentalist. She was so good!! The episode was a little bit scary though. Not as scary as Jennifer's Body would have been. haha

Sorry I haven't posted a normal update like this in a while....hope you guys enjoyed it! haha
Oh and if you read my blog...follow me! or send me a formspring or something! I love to know if/how many people read this. Interesting to me. hahah

Darkness dims the brightest blooms;
no lights restore the life.
Forever will the shadows loom,
above the growing, painted knives

Once a scenic, placid place
The sun declared devine
Now the chirping cursed with face
and the knives replace the vine.

To Kill a Mockingbird Inspired

When the clouds close in on me,
When I feel alone.
You make a show of safety;
You let the world know.
You say that you are saving me,
"you bring light in my life."
You shelter me with flashlights,
you pretend we'll win the fight.
My screams lie on numb ears;
I don't need you to survive.
Let me feel the sunlight.
Let me test the snow.
Let me find my own path home;
Just simply let me go.

chapeau

The feather brimmed slinked in with a slouch
The Beaver limps in, slower that most
While Beanie chills and sits on the couch,
The beret boasts of his trips coast to coast
Capotain name drops his fans (the pilgrims)
Derby vainly dances while staying in style
with two Bonnets as company, a Fez, and Bearskin
The rack stands alone; guests scared by the mile
Of thoughts of exposing their selves from within

Fairy Tales

Sometimes the Web and the vine
mimik themselves too closely World Wide.
The rose, certainty, love, and princess
make my butterflies fly out of their nest.
I'm used to the tragedy; that love conquers all
So proceeding your turn, I expect a great fall.
With a breath of pollution, I simply must state.
You're trying your best; it's just not true fate.
Your aura attracts just my moths to fly free
Look for a girl who wants chivalry.
So if you don't mind; I'll pass, Prince Charming.

'Till the End

To see green skies and not be lost
To watch the flowers bloom in frost
To rise at noon and doze at dawn
To be the queen with worlds of pawns
To string the pearls of past great men
To settle down and be a hen
To be as good but not die young
To have a word collapse a lung
To see the world in black and white
To have its colour bring insight
To be the only one who can
To just know how...and that's my plan

Fire

The ashes sit so pleasantly.
Content to exude tranquility.
Your hungry eyes search eagerly,
for a gateway destroy placidity.

The twig in hand; off you go
ready to redundantly show
power and robust ego.

The inferno grows,
It's time you know
Once a flame is gone
then simply go
and spark a sparkling new photo
An ash, not wood, will never glow.
Get a sip, and just let go.

Invisibility

You're the odd one out.
Everyone else a sea of "right"
You're the odd one out.
There is nothing to do, nothing to fight.

It's the way the world works, according to you.
Everyone else is praised, just simply, not you.
You're a speck of blue in a sweep of green;
But what you don't notice is that to me,
I'm the blue and you're the green.
It's takes perspective to judge invisibility.

Pebbles

It's funny the way the pebble dives when tossed across the sand.
It skips and skips and skips or falls; though skill may not be hand.
The pebble who has been pumped with poise may prance for years to come.
Though the one who's master has the skill might land and soon be done.
It's witty too, the circumstance, in which this might occur.
An ocean full of skill may let the poise skip on further.
The round, the flat, the thick, the thin; the stone remains unplanned.
It's truly up to those who cast to determine where it lands.

Irony

Its tears make the day break glow.
Its smile brings warmth throughout the soul.
Its sight demands to know we don't know.
Routinely a burst when power's too full.

The joy that it brings to a you or a me.
The knowledge we live off the nurture it leads.
The choice that we made is what it will be.
Our power and means just cause it to plea.
Its destruction is simply pure irony.

The man in the suit says keep marching on

The man in the suit says keep marching on.

A child misplaced, with a nine in his arms.

The man in the suit says keep marching on.

A young man in the line, straight off of the farm.

The man in the suit says keep marching on.

The brutal, the honest, the best and the worst.

The man in the suit says keep marching on.

The ultimate price if not placed in first.

The man in the suit says keep marching on.

The constant demand keeps asking for more.

The man in the suit says keep marching on.

Red on the suit, the man on the floor.

You must tell yourself to keep marching on.

My Attempt at Poetry

I’m afraid of the dark.

The unknown that lurks within it is what scares me the most. It’s the terror; the screams that are heard but unseen. The hallways that have no doors.

I’m afraid of the dark.

The inability to control my future. The knowledge I simply must pray, and leave my fate in the hands of the starless existence.

I’m afraid of the dark.

Ever since I was a child, I would sit up in my bed and stare at the looming, pitch black room. I could never decide if it was better with my eyes open or closed.

I’m afraid of the dark.

I think too much about it, and find unreal connections. Unforeseen fear and anxiety about unrelated causes, bubble forth and concentrate on this one, cryptic climax.

I’m afraid of the dark.

I lie awake, recalculating every possibility for failure and terror within the inky truth, only to realize that if my fears were to ever be a reality, I would have no preparation or idea of what to do.

I’m afraid of the dark.

As the unlit world encompasses me, I let myself surrender. I allow the unwanted images to tantalize my mind, as long as I can finally fall asleep.

The light blinds me.

It’s morning.

Noun;

In English class, our most recent assignment is to write an essay reflecting on a moment or person in our lives that really changed our perspectives on ourselves and the world.
This troubled me.
Trying to define myself and my progress as a individual and a person down to one specific moment is really hard.
It makes me think. Was trying to accept change hard? Was wearing the most ridiculous outfits but still feeling happy hard? Was loosing friends hard? Was gaining friends hard?
Basically, I began to think about what we talked about last year about human nature and whether being "good" or "bad" is innate.
Personally, I chose the stand point that we all start as blank slates persay, and then are coloured, changed, or jaded by the world and people around us.
Using this I decided to talk about friendships ebbing and flowing in the most influential time of your life: Middle School.
It's at that point in your life you begin to question what is "wrong" or "right" because by then life has splattered so much "paint" or experiences and knowledges onto your blank slate that you are ready.
You are ready to assess the world around you and decided what environment you want to be affected by.
And now I'm ready to write my English essay.
Wish me luck.

Faiku

Is darkness really evil if the light beneath is only shadowed?
A haiku I wrote from the Haiku-off. Good times with Frazier and the parrellogram :)
Wanna see lyrics I wrote on Outdoor Ed in seventh grade?
kcool.
Remember...I was in seventh grade. And I was in the middle of the wilderness and feeling very nature inspired.
Eve
When Eve ate the apple, she never did see
What the world would come to be
No more purity; no more tolerance
Much more expectance; much more regrets
We would cut down those trees she once stood under
We would fry up those birds that sang her to sleep
We would upppp
God's gifts to us
People crying, all things dying
What did it matter to us
If Eve could ever see
What the world has come to be
I'm sure she'd look around and sayy
"I didn't mean to do this...now you be the one to fix it
please..it may not matter to you.
But geez...it sure matters to me."

I felt very deep when I wrote it as a sevvie. I'm not even really super religious in a going to church and studying the bible sense, but I thought this was a kind of interesting thing to think about.
I don't know.
hahha.

High Schoool Musical!

Guess what?
I'm a high schooler! Woo!
Today was my first day of school and it was excellent. :) I am in love with my science class, and am so excited for the rest of the year with hilarious Dr. B. English seems amazing, French I'll learn a lot, Kawaski reminds me of Molly Heller and therefore makes me happy, Musical Theatre is chill and still productive, Nordquist seems bomb diggity and I overall had a great day :)
Life is good.
I love being in the Upper School. It's so classy.
I might post my first completed English Homework, because I am crazy proud of it. hahah
formspring me (mcalf) if you think I should.
I love you if you're reading this, and I'm pumped for being a freshman!

class

This is random.
Somewhat awkward.
Basically, I've been in a
"Share my Love"
kinda mood recently.
So here are two more things I love...
IN PICTURE FORM.
Too fancy, I know.
First: I love comforters.
Vote to take mine everywhere with me.
Plan? Plannn.
And the second thing,
I have recently loved,
(and recently "borrowed" from Jen)
are these necklaces.

They're pearly and vintage-y and make me very happy. :)
So if you see me wearing them,
and are like, "Hey! I saw those on your blog!"
I might just have to add you to my
happiness list :)

peace out.
more to come.

r-p-o-p-h-e-s-s-a-g-r

I miss you.
I love you.
Life has been good.
Eileen and I were PA Ninjas for Sweet Charity which was epic.
Then I went to UCLA camp with Gillian which was lifeee. :)
Now I'm doing 13.
Tech week starts on Monday. It's been going well so far; the show it self is super fun and I love performing it.
I'm Charlotte and Lucy Understudy which is super luscious and fun.
"Life's a puzzle, and my piece doesn't fit"-Mitchell's tumblr.
I love that.
'Tis my life right now.
I just feel kinda out of place.
I love where I am and what I've learned...but I feel like I'm in this weird transitional phase right now where I feel...weird.
I don't know.
hahah...It's like. I'm finding out new things about my self and am starting to label and identify what is unique and interesting and unusual about me.
It's odd.
I feel old.
...
Random Song quote GO:
"I'm trying to follow. I'm trying to lead. I'm trying to learn what it true. I'm trying to be what you want and I need but we all have a little more homework to do."
Love me some 13.
I'll be deeper tomorrow.
After my beast 10 hour rehearsal.
Night.

3. There are people coming in from all over to do the show and they are amazingly nice and fun to talk to.
4. Gillian, Eileen, and I have been having fun being PA-s for Sweet Charity. 'Tis bomb diggity.
5. Amanda and Chelsea got back today! Gillian and I went to the airport to welcome them after rehearsal and it was so great seeing them again!!
6. I don't know why but I've just been a really happy person over the last few days. I love it.

Everything Charlotte says is a lieee....

How to Present Myself?

BAM!
I got a red streak in my hair! Chicka Chicka Whaat?
Yeah, I promise it's real and not an extension. If you see me in life soon I'll let you pull on it if you're not convinced.
ANYWAY. The "theme" of this post it presenting myself. The red streak is one way to present myself as somewhat rebellious. (Although I'm not sure the Mary Poppins shirt completes the hardcore package.) Yesterday, I went from having zero auditions for months, to having two in the next three days.
The first one was for a feature film, but I'm not sure about the specifics. It was really interesting/a good experience to realized the massive difference between theatre and television. I'm kind of used to being VERY theatrical and big with scenes, but I had to try to tone it way down and be more natural. That was...new, but I really tried to fix it so we'll see how that works out.
Tonight after Sweet Charity I'm seeing the Eclipse premiere with Jen, Clara, Gillian, and maybe Cho! 'Twill be fun! I'm oh so knowledgable about eclipses now from science...hahaha
ALSOO, I'm on episode 12 of Lost. I'M LOVING IT.
Hope y'all are having a great summer!
I know I am!

The Story of Three Classy Girls

Summer days at the Beach!
Imagine: Sunday afternoon.
Three strikingly classy girls, Megan, Eileen, and Gillian, are elegantly riding their bikes from Torrance to Manhattan Beach.
They arrive in Manhattan Beach and carefully lock up their bikes, and part the crowds with their beauty as they walk to Manhattan Pizzeria.
Once there, they worry they ordered too much pizza, except since we know they are always right, they end up getting the exact amount they wanted.
Next they stroll to Beckers, passing Sketchers on the way.
They discuss how un-classy and "Sketch" Sketchers is.
Suddenly, Billy Ray Cyrus tumbles out of the store.
They turn into savage tourists.
Eloquent Eileen informs us of the sighting, and they casually follow him into Lucky Brand Jean.
Once There, they attempt to get pictures of him without him noticing.
This plan fails.
He leaves the store, and they are disapointed in not being able to locate him again.
With heavy hearts, they continue down their clash path to Beckers, and get some delectable treats.
They continue to chew as they discuss the sighting.
Again, they leave the store with no further sighting of Billy Ray.
Per Eileen's suggestion, they continue down the road back to Sketchers...
Only to find the entire Cyrus family strolling down the street! (Well, except Miley.)
The touristry re-grasps their souls as they shout for a picture.
Obviously, their beauty and class presents itself nicely in the image, and dear Noah just can't keep up.
They then continue on their day filled with swimming, rip tides, elegant bikes, and poo-poo-ing those with biker rage.

They know they are the classiest in the land.

Meganverse Updates

Welcome to the Meganverse...aka my summer.
1. No, I didn't forget about my blog. Honestly, day one of summer I attempted to post a lovely "WOO SUMMER" post, except then the website freaked out and wouldn't let me post it. So as a punishment, I ignored the site for a few weeks.
That turned out to be a lose-lose situation.
2. So....YAY SUMMER!
3. Since then I have been biking a ton; 'tis a fun workout, relaxing, and makes me feel hardcore and independent.
4. Sweet Charity started today! Gillian, Eileen, and I are bomb diggity PA-s, who take clash notes on iPads.
5. I saw In The Heights with Gillian and Amanda! 'Twas AMAZING. I also memorized the 96,000 rap. :D
6. I finally posted the first iChalfas video from two years ago! Check it out on youtube...more to come! :)
7. Began watching Lost...on episode 6! It's so enthralling, but also a little freaky. Still cool though.
8. I put a red streak in my hair! It's so legit, but kinda faint so tomorrow I'm bleaching it and redoing it for BAM results.
9. Loving Charlieissocoollike...my favorite youtuber. :) Check him out, he is SO AMAZING.
10. Had a scuppin' time with Amanda and Vanessa....ParTay-ing it up ;D
11. Going to the beach tomorrow! Excited :)
12. Chadwick is officially K-Dub-less. :( We showed him his video which he liked, and said goodbye :(.
12. OOH! At the end of the school year we had a school dance with the theme "Heroes and Villians". Myself and a bunch of my friends were the Harry Potter cast...because honestly what else would you be? It was EPIC. Except...during the dance contest I tried to cartwheel but slipped on my wand and hurt my knee for like three days. haha we're hardcore. :) It was all good though because afterwards I watched the Notebook and sobbed with Alex, Susan, and Bri...good stuff.
LIFE IS GOOD! SUMMER IS AMAZING!

Amanda, Gillian, and I at ITH.
Margot and I as Hedwig and Harry.

I Am A Tree

Oonce on this Island is in full swing!
Rehearsals are getting really fun, especially since I'm getting to know everyone better and we have like costumes and lights and legitness.
OK. I have two mysterious things I'd like to share that are up for interpretation ;] lol
1. The courage of a dreamer...
2. I am a tree holding away the storm. Here in my arms; I'll keep you safe and warm. Even the gods won't dare to cross this line.
Where my life is forever yours.
baha oh Once on this Island.
It is REALLY REALLY FUN. Ahh I'm so excited!! :]
That's all for now!

27 Islands

This is my 27th blog post.
FOR THE WIN.
But anyway...13 Cast list is up!! I'm Lucy's Understudy/Ensemble. I'm really excited! :) It seems like it'll be a good experience to learn how to understudy and also Lucy is a fun role.
I also went to LA JOLLA last weekend (Memorial Weekend). IT WAS AMAZING.
So many clashy times. Morning walks, night swims, boogie boarding, photo sessions, spindrifting, kayaking, clashy outfits, bonding, and just general amazingness!! Also today when I came home from school I came to the wonderful surprise of ecuadorian chocolate!

This blog is gonna be somewhat short and sweet because I have to go to bed, but one last topic!
ONCE ON THIS ISLAND!
It opens on Friday.
AHHH. I don't know why, but I am really nervous.
Actually that's a lie. I do know why I'm nervous. I'm worried I'm going to crack in all my songs or forget all my lines or something.
But I won't.
Deeep breaths.
The show is actually looking really good.
It's fun getting to know people I don't usually hang out with at school.
COME SEE IT! 7:30 Friday and Saturday at Chadwick.
And that's all for now!
I love you all and wish me luck in the show!!! <3

Starbucks

So [basically] every morning my family goes to Starbucks to get breakfast before school.
So, the employees know us and I generally recognize other "regulars." For example, every Friday there is a men Bible study group that pushes two of the tables together and talk about the purpose of life and stuff.
It's kinda cool hearing them, because they are so into it. There's always this one guy with a beanie, who participates quite a lot.
But then yesterday something really threw me off. There was a new member. This guy with a mullet had pulled up another chair and was talking just as much as the others.
I don't know why, but I felt as if my routine had been thrown off.
I'm really interested in said Bible group. Not to be creepy, but it makes me happy every time I see there and I get the confirmation that it is indeed Friday.
I also love hearing out-of-context tidbits of conversations as people passby talking.
It's really amusing to string them together into one talk.
For example, this would have been today's:
"And I was like, 'No, she LIKES you, but like she doesn't know if you like her.' and he was all.."
"Well except for the car crash yesterday. The guy walked out and then told me he accidently hit the gas instead of the brakes." -insert dramatic superior gesture-

That one kind of failed but I guess my point is I love Starbucks and the people there.
The employees are cool too: Courtney does musical theatre and gives us free food, Johnny is really funny, the brunette girl never gets orders wrong...etc.

Hooray Bucks du Star!

MATH

WHY WAS SIX AFRAID OF SEVEN? BECAUSE SEVEN EIGHT NINE!

I would be able to appreciate that joke if I wasn't so overstuffed with math right now.
I have TWO math tests tomorrow.
7 hours of studying.
6 practice tests.
5 glasses of cranberry juice.
4 minutes till I fall asleep.
3 times I got distracted by my cats.
2 tests back to back tomorrow.
1 break to be confused by five minutes of Glee.

Oh Mr. Jackson. If only I was good enough at math to be nicknamed "Fraction Jackson".
I love my math class, I really do. Just not when it's two tests in one day.
(To be fair, I chose this...but still haha)

1234

It's been waay too long...
1. I'm sorry I haven't blogged in 345678 years. I was backpacking, then school crazy, then CANDA, then school crazy again. I promise I haven't forgotten about my blog. I shall begin to update at LEAST thrice a week from now on.
2. Roundsquare was amazing. Like I can't even explain. Basically if you ever have the opportunity to do something like that do it. Soo great.
3. I got another rat! :) Lily now has a cagemate named Luna and they are adorable :)
4. We're doing a poetry unit in English, and here's the very first poem I wrote. It kinda fails, but I felt like posting it haha. By the way, the assignment was "4-8 lines with the title 'How to Write a Poem.'"
How to Write a Poem
Cover your eyes, and hear the music
Smell the ink, spell out the mean
Open your mind to something exotic
Grasp the hand and take a leap

Sharpen the images, accept details
Notice new people, perspectives, or things
Don't focus on your past betrayls
Use your five or six and sense the world waiting

This is a random edgy picture I took of my To Kill a Mockingbird book...haha I'm kinda obsessed with it right now.

Let The Choir Sing...

Hey guys! Ok this is going to be a short, sweet, rambling blog.
Here it goes.
Eileen Choster Coaster is sick :[. If you're reading this I love you and hope you get well soon!!
Also, on Glee they did the Prayer song by Madonna that was in the Dance Concert. I felt proud.
Next on today's agenda (I feel like a teacher) is the Chorus Concert which is TONIGHT at 7:30 in Laverty. Come!! 'Twill be fun. I just invented a word. That I enjoy. 'Twill. Like....it..will...'twill...
K, I think you got it. Anyways...OOH. I have a mission for you guys.
If you are reading my blog, go on my formspring (mcalf) and post a random question containing the word "banana".
I'm just curious to see if anyone actually reads this...and I'd like to see how many times that peel of laughter can be pulled. [get it...PEEL...wow I'm hysterical..]
So yeah!
Have a great day! Sorry this was so absentminded, baha (lamb).
I felt like I would add to the randomness of this blog because this picture makes me laugh.

Je suis desolee...

Hey guys! I know. It's been years since I've posted. I'm sorry. We had dance concert tech + tests+stress last week, and this week I was on outdoor ed.
They've both had their ups and downs.
Dance Concert: Happiest feeling ever right before the show hearing K-Dub's prep speech and then dancing our hearts out and sweating our pours out into countless costumes. Amazing. Incredible. We rocked it. ;D It was so amazing...I could feel the energy pumping out from the performers and the audience. Incredible. Saddest feeling ever was being onstage watching K-Dub try not to cry as he gave his final speech. I myself couldn't not cry. Even right now I'm tearing up. People who don't take dance really don't understand how spectacular K-Dub is. He's not only an incredible dancer, but the most sincere and down to earth person. He doesn't mind spending his lunch chatting with 8th graders, or hearing about random stories. He is amazing. And I'm going to miss him a ton.

Outdoor Ed: Please Agwe don't flood my...trip? It rained. Everyday. But we had the most AMAZING group. Like actually. The "Sexy Bomber Characters...with style...always...forever". haha I loved it. Not only were we always soaking wet, but we also had a ton of fun. We passed on riddles, sang, and joked as we hiked a total of 10+ miles(?) and completed 32 river crossings. It was gorgeous, even with the weather. The trees were tall and beautiful and the river sparkled happily. We buried Whiskers, the deceased mouse, whom none of us knew but all of us loved. We also laughed as Vanessa, Amanda, and I belted it out...then heard the guys singing the next night. :] We bonded through verbal Apples to Apples, and giggled as Tyler and Cole raced to their fourth dinner servings, while JB was on his first. It was overall a great experience, not a "dream or a book" and just...bliss. haha :) I'll post some more details and pictures later today...I've got to go get ready to see Caitlyn in Rent!

That's all for now! xoxo

Ohana

This is my 20th post! Party! Ahaha, I doubt many people read this, but I enjoy writing it so here's the 20th one!
I thought I'd celebrate with proof of how much I love my math class.
Quotes*:
Mr. Jackson: "Today we are learning exponentiation..."
Marcus (?): "THAT SOUNDS LIKE A HARRY POTTER SPELL"
-cue for entire class to start using pencils as wands and yell "EXPONENTIATION!"-

Mr. Jackson: "Now, here's a sidenote that might help you..." -he goes to the very side of the white board and writes his "sidenote" as class admires punny-ness-

Mr. Jackson: "So what's the first step?"
Class: muffled noises, a few varied ideas
Mr. Jackson: "Who said the F-word?!?!"
Class: shock
Mr. Jackson: "C'mon guys...you know I just meant Factoring!"

Mr. Jackson: "See class, I just used exponentiation and the multiplicitive property at the same time!"
Class: "FANCY!!"

Mr. Jackson: "Now, here is a pearl of wisdom that may help you..."
Sara: "For me using the pearls of wisdom are right up there with thou shan't kill!"

Mr. Jackson: "If you are ever lost while I am explaining something, I want you to say Ohana because Ohana means family and family means no-one gets left behind."

Mr. Jackson walking in the room to see all of our desks flipped to the side and us sitting in them like everything is normal: "Look guys, I appreciate the gesture..."

*these quotes are just based off of my memory so if you're in my class and you remember the wording/person who said it differently feel free to tell me!
We smashed our desks to the front of the room...epicness.

Weekly Update (SNL?)

Hey! OK, so this week has been surprising nice. Where did I leave off?
Hmm...I want to tell you about Thursday, Vivace, and Midsummer.
Thursday: I woke up relunctantly and then slept for 15 more minutes. After awakening again, I raced to get ready in five minutes then ran to the car. I practiced performing my french skit with Allegra, then watched a movie in History. English brought laughs as Ms. Frazier threatened to read aloud some seemingly juicy notes. haha. I flew to lunch (and the laverty) and was slightly disapointed with no cast list. But I mean, I guess it makes sense since people (ahem, boys) are just starting to join the show. Next, I had dance and we reviewed the dances from the beginning of the year. DEJA VU.

Vivace: For those of you who don't know, Vivace is like Village Voices, except more "dance-y". For those who don't know what Village Voices is, it's the performing group for the village (K-6). I help K-Dub during their rehearsals and it's always really fun and entertaining :). The kids are adorable and actually remember a lot of the dances, which is good. Gahasdfhj...I'm going to miss K-Dub. :( At least he will be following his dreams..:) Oh also, Allegra and I filmed out french skit that day, and after I had to sprint to student council with my mustache still on...I forgot to tell her to bring the make-up remover to dance, so I had to have a mustache for many questioning children and peers, ahahaha. So if you saw me walking around Chadwick like a crazy person with a mustache on Friday...there's you explanation.

Midsummer: Amazing. Like, the best thing ever. This Scottish school, Gordenstoun, came to Chadwick since about Wednesday I think and they performed last night. It was honestly wicked. Not only did the hair cast members do a great job with dinner theatre (I got videos!), but the show itself was so amazing with the way they infused modern music and were just funny, while still staying true to the story. Only bummer: in order to see it I had to miss seeing Glee at the Grove..:( I know Chels and Gill had fun though, and that's good enough for me :).

I've had a great week back at school...now time for one more packed with DCO and the Dance Concert, as well as two tests, and OE preparation! Woo!

Le mustache pour notre scennette.

Life

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a few days...school has been keeping me busy!
I'm a little lazy, so I'm going to update you in a list of major things that have happened.
1. K-Dub is leaving Chadwick. For sure. I can't explain how sad I am. :( ftgegidhvbkj But I'm sure he'll have an amazing dance career and be super successful and the two years he has been here have been more fulfilling than anyone could ask for! :)

2. I am obsessed with my rat. Her name is Lily and she is amazing. Haha she sits on my shoulder and I can just do my homework or whatever and she loves just being with me. :) I am in the process of teaching her tricks, so I'll let you know how that goes. :] I know most people think rats aren't good pets or are dirty or strange but they are perfect. They are cleaner than humans, they are loyal, really tame, and just amazing! I highly recommend them if you are looking for a small animal.

3. Once On This Island auditions were yesterday and they went well! We all learned "Forever Yours" and sang it one by one. It was a little nerve-wracking learning it so quickly but kinda fun and challenging :) lol. Ahh I'm nervous for the cast list...it either comes out tomorrow or next Tuesday.

4. I love my math class. I'll post some epic quotes soon. It's hilariously amazing. I usually am not math's biggest fan but I really love that class lol everyone is so amazing! Yesterday we had our desks all in our huge "ohana" family smushes literally desk to desk in the very back of the room. Mr. Jackson didn't mind as long as we could function (get it...like x is a function of y? ahaha). Then today, we did the same thing but towards the very front of the room. On Friday I plan to suggest having our desks line the walls. We'll see what happens. :D

Those are the major things right now..I'll tell you more later!

Baby bye bye bye (BYE BYE)

Bye bye Spring Break!
Hello school. :/
I'm kinda excited to get back into the swing of things, but I also am sad we don't have any overlap with the public schools...failblog.
Oh well.
Outdoor Ed is in two weeks...WOO. I am pumped.
Time to go pack my dance bag and frost some cupcakes.
Jennifer's getting angry with my lack of speediness in the cupcake area.

Lent

So Lent ends in seven minutes. I am excited to finally go on facebook and see my notifications.
It's weird though: after a while of no facebook, I don't have as much urge to go on which is very good. :) Goal was accomplished: break the habit of spending hours a day on facebook, and learn to go out and just live!

Update

Hey guys! OK, so I know I haven't posted in a long time, but I definitely haven't forgotten about my blog! I've been busy with the fun of spring break, and haven't had much time to post
This week has been filled with beach trips, dance classes, movies, disneyland, shopping, sleeping in, and a new pet. Small but nice details of each of these:
Beach Trips: Amanda invited me to go to the beach, and we tanned, fought currents on bugy boards, professionally rode bikes in the standard MB style ;D, had great ice cream, and chatted. 'Twas really fun!! We went two days in a row and got some super fun and great moments in there. It was soo much fun and we had some great discussions and bonding :). Haha, and we (especially Amanda) got a little sunburned..
Dance Classes: Dance classes were great this week...I LOVED going without having to worry about school the next day and stuff. Oh my gosh! Chryssie (my ballet and jazz teacher) got the role of Roxy in Chicago on Broadway!! Ahh, amazingness!!
Movies: Today Vanessa came home from Paris and DC!! Us and Amanda went to see the Last Song today and it was so great to see her after all this time! Miley Cyrus was much better than expected, but let's just say she has some...room to grow. ;D
Disneyland: Woo! Yesterday I went to Disneyland with Jen, Cho, and Huntington. It was so fun and epic because we PWNED all the lines/rides. Highlights: Going single rider on Indiana Jones, but then the Disneyland worker made a mistake and put us all together in the front row of the car...PWN..., going on Grizzly River Rapids four times with a 5 minute wait. epic. Also, watching Huntington and Cho D...D...D...DIVA it out. ;D Oh, and afterwards at home, Huntington told Cho and I's fortunes with cards. During Cho's, he laughed as he told her that she would throw flaming lady gagas at Sam Cartwright, then suddenly became serious and channelled a top model diva.
"I only have three pictures in my hand..." It was a great moment :)
Shopping: On Wednesday, my sisters, my mom, and I went shopping at Del Amo. We got some goood stuff at Forever 21 and Urban. 'Twas fun and good bonding, haha :). Also, on Thursday, I was back at the Del Amo yet again this time with Amanda and Ms. Dorsey. It was really nice and we shopped for costumes for dance. A little confusing, because four other people were supposed to come however they never told us they weren't...ahah we were a little confused/looking for them. It was fun though, because Amanda and I are both going to Canada with YRS, so Ms. Dorsey was able to tell us a lot about how it's going to be and whatnot. Good times :)
Sleeping in: 'Nuff said.
New Pet: I got a pet rat!! Her name is Lily and she is super cute and awesome. She's amazingly tame, as my mom said all rats are, and doesn't bite at all and loves to sit on shoulders and hide behind your hair. :) I love her soo much and am excited to train her!
There's a little catch-up on my week, I hope you all had a great week as well! I'm a little anxious/sad to go back to school...But outdoor ed is coming up so I am looking forward to that! :D

Fourteen!

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while; it's been a fun, busy week!
Well, today is my birthday!!
ahaha it's been so much fun! :) Eileen slept over on Thursday and we had some fort/footie pajama/poreo epicness :). Then I got a crazy wake-up call at 7:00 from the marvelous Eileen and Amanda. Once wide awake and happy, we went and eat this delicious crepes courtesy of Amanda. :) After that, we chilled out, watched some always great Harry Potter and opened some presents. I got some epicc stuff!!
My main present was my new desk which I LOVE! Especially now that it's all organized and lovely :). I also got a Harry Potter shirt and sweatshirt, an iHome, a dry erase board calendar, Harry Potter DS game, Harry Potter music box and legit pen, and some Miss. Kitty/Theo look-a-like webkinz :).
After that, we met up with Chelsea and Gillian for a beautiful lunch at Ruby's. We ate great food...oh and also dressed up like Harry Potter characters. Ahaha it was magical (no pun intended ;)). I was Hermione; Chelsea was Harry; Cho was Cho Chang; Amanda was Luna. Gillian was the amazing Gillian with a Gryffindor pin :D. Ahaha I love them all and couldn't have asked for more! :) We window shopped, and then played some mall scavenger hunt. (Random Alert: did I mention my sister got into STANFORD?!) Bahah it was fun and epic.
Once I got home, my mom and I went to TJ Maxx and Bonbon and got some lovely desk organizers, and candy :). We also picked up some Panda (Express), and chilled at home as I enjoyed my gifts. :)
Twas a wonderful day! Thanks to my friends and family for making it spendiferously (that's 14 letters!) awesome!!
This is me and Eileen's fort pre-fail fall baha. I'll post the Harry pics once I upload them!

The First (Real) Day of Freedom

Ahh today was fun. It really began to sink in that it is spring break, because it's Monday...and we weren't at school. :) ahaah. Today I went to Margot's house and it was def fun :). We went downtown and looked around/tried on crazy $400 outfits, bahah. Then we peep jousted, which was an epic pwn/disaster. Let's just say we didn't anticipate how sticky marshmellows get when microwaved, bahah. We then went to the MCC (Manhattan Country Club and..Megan Catherine Calfas ;D). We swam and took pictures with this epic underwater camera. Haha it was so legitt, I'm excited to see the developed film :D. Then we got food...and I did a good job of dropping all of it, bhaha. Afterwards, I went home, got ready, and went to Ballet and Jazz with Jon. It was so funn! Wow, good day. :) I'm excited for tomorrow (bike riding with Cho!) and the rest of break/me and Amanda's to-do-list ;D.
Shall Be Epic!!

Spring Break!!

This weekend marks the beginning of Spring Break!

It's been super fun. But then I also FAILED and Cho and I were supposed to go bike riding today so I texted her this morning asking what time but she never responded so I thought she like forgot or something and then I saw her and she was like, "My phone's been broken for a month."
DISASTER
It was going to be epic. But we shall do it soon.
Anyhoo. I also really want to know about Young Round Square..but they still haven't posted anything...

You Complete Me

This is really random, but some lyrics I wrote a while ago and want to share, ahaha.

You're right out of the box.
You've been longing to break free.
Because something you are not, is someone who'd...
let their life fly by.
Up on the shelves, stuck way up high.

You're a puzzle.
And so...am I.
We're confusing.
One hundred pieces.
But they fit together, so perfectly.
That to us it's just; you and me!
You complete, you're the piece I lost and found.
The piece I need to get aroundd.
Without you my flower'd be one petal short,
I'd missing that piece that makes others see...
Who I am.
You complete me.

Life's confusing, but you, you're my compass.
Without you I'd spin in circles, losing my way.
I'd need a new direction, a bright brand new day.
But you're the sunshine, you make me smile.
With you the colors are so much brighter, flowers grow and bloom.
Life just seems so beautiful, and you're weaving that loom!
YOUU complete me!
You're my last puzzle piece, my rainbow after rain.
The reason I get up, on a not so sunny day.
You. Complete. Me.

Break of the Spring

Heyy. Kk so I'M DONE WITH MY MASSIVE TESTS.
RELIEF X23456789
And tomorrow I get to go to Disneyland! :D I'm SUPERR excited.
Ahh, bliss. I'm getting closer to my splits (3 inches!) and my goal is to have them by my birthday.
Saying it here makes it feel more official. ahahaa.
During spring break I'm staying home it's going to be soo nice to sit back and relaxx.
Love.
Two. Days. Away.

Sleeep

I. am. so. tired.
I had DCO today from 3:45-6:00 and with the time change I could literally fall asleep right now.
However, I get the beautiful alternative of studying for two huge tests. What fun! ;)
Three. More. Days. Until. Spring. Break.

Weekend?

Hey guys! OK so my day was pretty good, and average, so I'm gonna tell you about my weekend instead. :) On Friday, I did Vivace with K-Dub which was fun, and all the little kids are pretty hilarious. This one boy just like randomly runs to the front of the run and looks in the mirror and is insane, ahaha. After that, Cho came over and we built a fort for no reason except that we are epic! :) Fruit cups, mopeds, lists, webisodes. Yeah. We're legit. On Saturday and I had a voice lesson and homework. And Sunday I worked and saw Alice in Wonderland!! It was good. I really liked Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, and the red queen. Good stuff :)
Four. Days. Until. Spring. Break.

Sunday

It's Pi day.
3.14159265358...
March fourteenth (3.14)=so amazing.
At school we had a pie contest that I helped set up.
"Be there or be square rooted"
It was pretty bomb.com.
I mean, who DOESN'T love pi(e)?
