Let The Choir Sing...

Hey guys! Ok this is going to be a short, sweet, rambling blog.
Here it goes.
Eileen Choster Coaster is sick :[. If you're reading this I love you and hope you get well soon!!
Also, on Glee they did the Prayer song by Madonna that was in the Dance Concert. I felt proud.
Next on today's agenda (I feel like a teacher) is the Chorus Concert which is TONIGHT at 7:30 in Laverty. Come!! 'Twill be fun. I just invented a word. That I enjoy. 'Twill. Like....it..will...'twill...
K, I think you got it. Anyways...OOH. I have a mission for you guys.
If you are reading my blog, go on my formspring (mcalf) and post a random question containing the word "banana".
I'm just curious to see if anyone actually reads this...and I'd like to see how many times that peel of laughter can be pulled. [get it...PEEL...wow I'm hysterical..]
So yeah!
Have a great day! Sorry this was so absentminded, baha (lamb).
I felt like I would add to the randomness of this blog because this picture makes me laugh.

Je suis desolee...

Hey guys! I know. It's been years since I've posted. I'm sorry. We had dance concert tech + tests+stress last week, and this week I was on outdoor ed.
They've both had their ups and downs.
Dance Concert: Happiest feeling ever right before the show hearing K-Dub's prep speech and then dancing our hearts out and sweating our pours out into countless costumes. Amazing. Incredible. We rocked it. ;D It was so amazing...I could feel the energy pumping out from the performers and the audience. Incredible. Saddest feeling ever was being onstage watching K-Dub try not to cry as he gave his final speech. I myself couldn't not cry. Even right now I'm tearing up. People who don't take dance really don't understand how spectacular K-Dub is. He's not only an incredible dancer, but the most sincere and down to earth person. He doesn't mind spending his lunch chatting with 8th graders, or hearing about random stories. He is amazing. And I'm going to miss him a ton.

Outdoor Ed: Please Agwe don't flood my...trip? It rained. Everyday. But we had the most AMAZING group. Like actually. The "Sexy Bomber Characters...with style...always...forever". haha I loved it. Not only were we always soaking wet, but we also had a ton of fun. We passed on riddles, sang, and joked as we hiked a total of 10+ miles(?) and completed 32 river crossings. It was gorgeous, even with the weather. The trees were tall and beautiful and the river sparkled happily. We buried Whiskers, the deceased mouse, whom none of us knew but all of us loved. We also laughed as Vanessa, Amanda, and I belted it out...then heard the guys singing the next night. :] We bonded through verbal Apples to Apples, and giggled as Tyler and Cole raced to their fourth dinner servings, while JB was on his first. It was overall a great experience, not a "dream or a book" and just...bliss. haha :) I'll post some more details and pictures later today...I've got to go get ready to see Caitlyn in Rent!

That's all for now! xoxo

Ohana

This is my 20th post! Party! Ahaha, I doubt many people read this, but I enjoy writing it so here's the 20th one!
I thought I'd celebrate with proof of how much I love my math class.
Quotes*:
Mr. Jackson: "Today we are learning exponentiation..."
Marcus (?): "THAT SOUNDS LIKE A HARRY POTTER SPELL"
-cue for entire class to start using pencils as wands and yell "EXPONENTIATION!"-

Mr. Jackson: "Now, here's a sidenote that might help you..." -he goes to the very side of the white board and writes his "sidenote" as class admires punny-ness-

Mr. Jackson: "So what's the first step?"
Class: muffled noises, a few varied ideas
Mr. Jackson: "Who said the F-word?!?!"
Class: shock
Mr. Jackson: "C'mon guys...you know I just meant Factoring!"

Mr. Jackson: "See class, I just used exponentiation and the multiplicitive property at the same time!"
Class: "FANCY!!"

Mr. Jackson: "Now, here is a pearl of wisdom that may help you..."
Sara: "For me using the pearls of wisdom are right up there with thou shan't kill!"

Mr. Jackson: "If you are ever lost while I am explaining something, I want you to say Ohana because Ohana means family and family means no-one gets left behind."

Mr. Jackson walking in the room to see all of our desks flipped to the side and us sitting in them like everything is normal: "Look guys, I appreciate the gesture..."

*these quotes are just based off of my memory so if you're in my class and you remember the wording/person who said it differently feel free to tell me!
We smashed our desks to the front of the room...epicness.

Weekly Update (SNL?)

Hey! OK, so this week has been surprising nice. Where did I leave off?
Hmm...I want to tell you about Thursday, Vivace, and Midsummer.
Thursday: I woke up relunctantly and then slept for 15 more minutes. After awakening again, I raced to get ready in five minutes then ran to the car. I practiced performing my french skit with Allegra, then watched a movie in History. English brought laughs as Ms. Frazier threatened to read aloud some seemingly juicy notes. haha. I flew to lunch (and the laverty) and was slightly disapointed with no cast list. But I mean, I guess it makes sense since people (ahem, boys) are just starting to join the show. Next, I had dance and we reviewed the dances from the beginning of the year. DEJA VU.

Vivace: For those of you who don't know, Vivace is like Village Voices, except more "dance-y". For those who don't know what Village Voices is, it's the performing group for the village (K-6). I help K-Dub during their rehearsals and it's always really fun and entertaining :). The kids are adorable and actually remember a lot of the dances, which is good. Gahasdfhj...I'm going to miss K-Dub. :( At least he will be following his dreams..:) Oh also, Allegra and I filmed out french skit that day, and after I had to sprint to student council with my mustache still on...I forgot to tell her to bring the make-up remover to dance, so I had to have a mustache for many questioning children and peers, ahahaha. So if you saw me walking around Chadwick like a crazy person with a mustache on Friday...there's you explanation.

Midsummer: Amazing. Like, the best thing ever. This Scottish school, Gordenstoun, came to Chadwick since about Wednesday I think and they performed last night. It was honestly wicked. Not only did the hair cast members do a great job with dinner theatre (I got videos!), but the show itself was so amazing with the way they infused modern music and were just funny, while still staying true to the story. Only bummer: in order to see it I had to miss seeing Glee at the Grove..:( I know Chels and Gill had fun though, and that's good enough for me :).

I've had a great week back at school...now time for one more packed with DCO and the Dance Concert, as well as two tests, and OE preparation! Woo!

Le mustache pour notre scennette.

Life

Hey guys! Sorry it's been a few days...school has been keeping me busy!
I'm a little lazy, so I'm going to update you in a list of major things that have happened.
1. K-Dub is leaving Chadwick. For sure. I can't explain how sad I am. :( ftgegidhvbkj But I'm sure he'll have an amazing dance career and be super successful and the two years he has been here have been more fulfilling than anyone could ask for! :)

2. I am obsessed with my rat. Her name is Lily and she is amazing. Haha she sits on my shoulder and I can just do my homework or whatever and she loves just being with me. :) I am in the process of teaching her tricks, so I'll let you know how that goes. :] I know most people think rats aren't good pets or are dirty or strange but they are perfect. They are cleaner than humans, they are loyal, really tame, and just amazing! I highly recommend them if you are looking for a small animal.

3. Once On This Island auditions were yesterday and they went well! We all learned "Forever Yours" and sang it one by one. It was a little nerve-wracking learning it so quickly but kinda fun and challenging :) lol. Ahh I'm nervous for the cast list...it either comes out tomorrow or next Tuesday.

4. I love my math class. I'll post some epic quotes soon. It's hilariously amazing. I usually am not math's biggest fan but I really love that class lol everyone is so amazing! Yesterday we had our desks all in our huge "ohana" family smushes literally desk to desk in the very back of the room. Mr. Jackson didn't mind as long as we could function (get it...like x is a function of y? ahaha). Then today, we did the same thing but towards the very front of the room. On Friday I plan to suggest having our desks line the walls. We'll see what happens. :D

Those are the major things right now..I'll tell you more later!

Baby bye bye bye (BYE BYE)

Bye bye Spring Break!
Hello school. :/
I'm kinda excited to get back into the swing of things, but I also am sad we don't have any overlap with the public schools...failblog.
Oh well.
Outdoor Ed is in two weeks...WOO. I am pumped.
Time to go pack my dance bag and frost some cupcakes.
Jennifer's getting angry with my lack of speediness in the cupcake area.

Lent

So Lent ends in seven minutes. I am excited to finally go on facebook and see my notifications.
It's weird though: after a while of no facebook, I don't have as much urge to go on which is very good. :) Goal was accomplished: break the habit of spending hours a day on facebook, and learn to go out and just live!

Update

Hey guys! OK, so I know I haven't posted in a long time, but I definitely haven't forgotten about my blog! I've been busy with the fun of spring break, and haven't had much time to post
This week has been filled with beach trips, dance classes, movies, disneyland, shopping, sleeping in, and a new pet. Small but nice details of each of these:
Beach Trips: Amanda invited me to go to the beach, and we tanned, fought currents on bugy boards, professionally rode bikes in the standard MB style ;D, had great ice cream, and chatted. 'Twas really fun!! We went two days in a row and got some super fun and great moments in there. It was soo much fun and we had some great discussions and bonding :). Haha, and we (especially Amanda) got a little sunburned..
Dance Classes: Dance classes were great this week...I LOVED going without having to worry about school the next day and stuff. Oh my gosh! Chryssie (my ballet and jazz teacher) got the role of Roxy in Chicago on Broadway!! Ahh, amazingness!!
Movies: Today Vanessa came home from Paris and DC!! Us and Amanda went to see the Last Song today and it was so great to see her after all this time! Miley Cyrus was much better than expected, but let's just say she has some...room to grow. ;D
Disneyland: Woo! Yesterday I went to Disneyland with Jen, Cho, and Huntington. It was so fun and epic because we PWNED all the lines/rides. Highlights: Going single rider on Indiana Jones, but then the Disneyland worker made a mistake and put us all together in the front row of the car...PWN..., going on Grizzly River Rapids four times with a 5 minute wait. epic. Also, watching Huntington and Cho D...D...D...DIVA it out. ;D Oh, and afterwards at home, Huntington told Cho and I's fortunes with cards. During Cho's, he laughed as he told her that she would throw flaming lady gagas at Sam Cartwright, then suddenly became serious and channelled a top model diva.
"I only have three pictures in my hand..." It was a great moment :)
Shopping: On Wednesday, my sisters, my mom, and I went shopping at Del Amo. We got some goood stuff at Forever 21 and Urban. 'Twas fun and good bonding, haha :). Also, on Thursday, I was back at the Del Amo yet again this time with Amanda and Ms. Dorsey. It was really nice and we shopped for costumes for dance. A little confusing, because four other people were supposed to come however they never told us they weren't...ahah we were a little confused/looking for them. It was fun though, because Amanda and I are both going to Canada with YRS, so Ms. Dorsey was able to tell us a lot about how it's going to be and whatnot. Good times :)
Sleeping in: 'Nuff said.
New Pet: I got a pet rat!! Her name is Lily and she is super cute and awesome. She's amazingly tame, as my mom said all rats are, and doesn't bite at all and loves to sit on shoulders and hide behind your hair. :) I love her soo much and am excited to train her!
There's a little catch-up on my week, I hope you all had a great week as well! I'm a little anxious/sad to go back to school...But outdoor ed is coming up so I am looking forward to that! :D
