You make a show of safety;
You let the world know.

"you bring light in my life."
You shelter me with flashlights,
you pretend we'll win the fight.
My screams lie on numb ears;
I don't need you to survive.
Let me feel the sunlight.
Let me test the snow.
Let me find my own path home;
Just simply let me go.
